Laser Cutting Course: In this course we will learn how to safely use our Epilogue Mini Laser Cutter. After getting acclimated to the software program Inkscape, we will then move on to cutting and etching out key chains that our participants may take home with them.
Vinyl Cutting Course: In this course our participants will be able to learn the In's and Out's of the software program Silhouette. We will then provide a step-by-step procedure for hooking up our mini-vinyl cutters and using them to successfully produce stickers.
Shobot CNC Course: In the shopbot course our participants will be introduced to our shopbot CNC machine and be led through the software program VCarve. During this course the participants will create their own names out of wood and be able to take those home.
Breadboard Activity Course: During this activity our participants will be introduced to electronic circuitry by way of a Breadboard and LED Activity. Participants will be provided materials to follow along and learn the basics of circuitry and electrical current.
Series and Parallel Circuits Course: In the Series and Parallel circuits course, our participants will be led through the difference between series and parallel circuitry by way of an LED, 3V battery and copper tape activity. Participants will be asked to make their own designs using copper tape given the topic of series or parallel electrical current.
3D Printing: In this course participants will learn how to set up and run the Printrbot Play 3D printers. The object to be printed will either be downloaded from thingiverse.com, or a 3D scan of the participant's face.
Molding & Casting: In this course participants will learn how to create a mold of an object. Using that mold, participants will pour in their choice of material (metal, plastic, rubber) to create a replica of the object.
Screen Printing: In this course participants will learn how to use the screen printing process to dye a design into a shirt.
